Bobbie Piecyk

I grew up in Lawton, Michigan where I attended Lawton Public Schools. Following graduation I attended Kalamazoo Valley Community College where I earned my Associate's Degree in Education. I then pursued my Bachelor’s Degree at Western Michigan University. In 2012 I earned a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I am currently certified to teach Elementary Grades K-8 all subjects, Art grades K-12, and Preschool.

I began my teaching career at St. Joseph Catholic School in Watervliet, Michigan. My first year at St. Joseph I taught 6^th grade. The following year I taught 3rd grade. My third year at St. Joseph I taught 3^rd grade in the morning, and a combined 3 and 4 year old preschool in the afternoon. In 2010 I became the school principal and continued to teach 3 and 4 year old preschool until 2012. My love of teaching in a Catholic School brought me here to Saint Mary School in 2014 where I have taught grades 3 through 5.

My husband (who is also a teacher) and I have been married for seven years. We have two beautiful children and are currently living in Lawrence. Both of our children attend school at St. Mary's.
